McArthur meets new Chief Inspector

Orkney's MSP, Liam McArthur, has met the new Chief Inspector for Orkney, Ali Garrow.

Commenting after the meeting, Mr McArthur said:

"Pleasure to meet with the new Chief Inspector for Orkney, Ali Garrow, this morning at Kirkwall Police Station.

"He outlined his thoughts on community policing, including in the smaller isles, and we discussed the role the police can play, in partnership with others, to protect the vulnerable and those at risk within our local community.

"I look forward to working with Chief Inspector Garrow on these and other issues going forward."
