Orkney Hockey Team Wins the Lady Hamilton Cup

That the Parliament congratulates Orkney’s senior hockey team on retaining the Lady Hamilton Cup against rivals Shetland for the 16th consecutive year; understands that the contest went to extra time, during which Donna Wilson settled the contest by scoring the only goal of the game, which was her first at inter-county level, to extend Orkney's winning streak; congratulates Inga Kemp on being named player of the match by the umpires and Donna, who won the Lesley Fotheringham Cup after being named player of the match by her teammates; acknowledges the contribution made by the Shetland team, who put up an incredible fight and came so close to ending Orkney’s long run of success; recognises the hard work and commitment put in by the Orkney team captain, Aimee Driver, and the rest of the squad, as well as senior squad coaches, Graham and Ali Johnston, and wishes them all the best as they prepare to make it 17 in a row in 2020 back on home soil.
